Let them Plot

قال الله تعالى بعد بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّا نَأْتِي الأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا وَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ لاَ مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
وَقَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلّهِ الْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الْكُفَّارُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ

Allah (SWT) says: [Surah Ar-Raad: Verses 41-42]. "Do they not see that We gradually reduce the land from its outlying borders. Where Allah commands, there is none to put back His command, and He is swift in calling to account. Those before them did also devise plots, but in all things the master-planning is Allah’s. He knows the doings of every soul; and soon will the disbelievers know who gets home in the end."

Ibnu Kathir mentioned in commentary to these verses: “Ibnu Abbas said: Did they not see that we open to Mohammed the lands, one after the other...” Al-Dhahhak and Al-Hassan said: “It is the victory of the Muslims over the polytheists... Allah (SWT) says: “Those before them did also devise plots...” i.e. they plotted against their messengers and they wanted to banish them from their lands, hence Allah (SWT) plotted against them and made the victory that of the pious ones...His Saying (SWT): “He knows the doings of every soul..” means that Allah (SWT) knows of all the secrets and the hidden matters and that He will duly reward each one according to his doings. “And soon the disbelievers will know who gets home in the end.”, i.e. who will gain victory, them or the followers of the messengers? It is indeed to the followers of the messengers in life and in the hereafter and to Allah are the praises and the gratitude.

Two similar cases we have here: The evil plotting of the Kuffar of Makkah and her leaders against the Messenger of Allah (SAW), his Da’awah and those who believed in him from amongst the Muslims on the one hand, and the plotting of the Muslims rulers and their masters in the disbelieving west. They constantly plot against the Muslims and the Da’awah carriers, especially those who work towards the Shariyyah, Hakamiyyah and Dawlah Islamiyyah. Hence, they both plotted and planned in order to harm the Islamic cause and prevent the Muslims from establishing their Deen in the manner that Allah (SWT) has approved of, i.e. through establishment of Shariah in society and in relationships and that carryinh Islam to the world. They both utilise all the available means of plotting, cunning, power, authority and intellectual and material terrorism in order to torture those who call to Islam, bribe them with money, prestige and power, spreading rumours against them, fabricate lies against their Da’awah and impose a social and economic siege on them, so that Islam could not manifest itself in the shape of a powerful Islamic State that terrorise them and so that Muslims could not become a force that threatens them, and recapture the leadership from them as was the case in the past.

In the face of this plotting perpetrated by the Kuffar, in the past against the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and at present, the power of the believers is weaker than that of their enemies by tenfold. However, just like the Kuffar of Makkah and her leaders forgot that there is none to put back the command of Allah and that He is swift in calling to account, i.e. He is swift in inflicting punishment upon the Kuffar and the wrongdoers, all the Kuffar today and their collaborators from among the rulers of the Islamic world have also forgotten that Allah (SWT) has decreed that Islam should conquer and prevail, and that Kufr should be vanquished and abolished.

Allah (SWT) has carried out His promise to His Messenger (SAW). Hence, HE (SWT) opened the earth for him; and when we recite and ponder over these verses and their meaning, we realise that Allah (SWT) will open the earth for us once more, that our Islamic lands, which the Kuffar usurped and which the collaborating rulers currently dominate, will soon return to us.

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُم فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

Allah (SWT) says:. [Surah An-Noor, Verse:55] “Allah has promised those from amongst you who have believed and worked the righteous deeds, that He will with certainty grant them inheritance of power on Earth, as He had granted it to those before them, that He will establish in authority their Deen, the one He has chosen for them; and that He will change their status, after the fear in which they lived, to one of security. They will worship me and not associate anything with Me; if any reject the faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.”
